The U.S. Department of Justice awarded $7,340 to the Nottoway County Sheriff's Office in 2016 as part of the Bureau of Justice Assistance's body-worn camera grant program. The Nottoway County Sheriff's Office also received a Small, Rural and Tribal Body-Worn Camera Program grant for $50,000 for 24 body-worn cameras in 2023.
