Face recognition Vendor: NEC

A live NEC NeoFace facial recognition system integrated with Adelaide city-centre CCTV has operated since 2019, following 2017 trials. In November 2021 Adelaide City Council voted to bar police facial recognition on the council's replacement CCTV network; the existing police deployment was not reversed.
