The Pickens County Sheriff's Office received a $1,126,400 Community Public Safety Grant in 2023, which the agency planned to use for body-worn cameras. The Pickens County Sheriff's Office also received a Small, Rural and Tribal Body-Worn Camera Program grant for $80,000 for 50 body-worn cameras in 2023.
