Body-worn & dashcam

The U.S. Department of Justice awarded $165,000 to the Nye County Sheriff's Office in 2016 as part of the Bureau of Justice Assistance's body-worn camera grant program. The Nye County Sheriff's Office also received a Small, Rural and Tribal Body-Worn Camera Program grant for $314,000 for 157 body-worn cameras in 2023.
